タイトルにもあるようにvtuberとは、私にとってかけがえのない存在と言えるでしょう。As the title said, I would say the existence of vtuber is basically my life.

少しだけ私のバックグラウンドを説明させてください。私は、純粋な日本人、日本の高校でゴリゴリの野球選手（もう少しで甲子園いけそうでした泣）、勉強は一ミリもする必要がありませんでした。let me talk a little bit about my background. I am Japanese and only played baseball my whole life until a high school student. (when I was in high school student, I almost went to the national tournament which is called Koushien, one of the biggest baseball tournaments for high school students) Therefore, I have never studied anything but playing baseball.

高校卒業後、唯一無二の野球を捨てなぜか英語を学びたいと思って英語の専門学校に行きました。理由としては、海外大学一年生から通うより、専門学校を通して大学3年生から行く方が学費と時間が圧倒的に良いからです。After I graduated the high school, I quit playing baseball even though baseball is only my things I can do and somehow I thought I wanted to learn English and went to English school in Japan. The reason why I went to an English school in Japan, not going to the University of America, is it is easy to go to the University of America as a junior as an exchange student. If I go to the University of America as a freshman, money and time will be wasted.

本題と言いますと海外の大学に行ったのは良いもの、コロナになった瞬間の入学でしたのでずっと日本に滞在しながら授業をうけてましたなので、友達ができず本場の英語（授業以外）を全く聞くことができませんでした。The main story is technically I was able to join the university of America. However, when I joined the university, COVID-19 began at the same time, so I could not make any friends and listen to English from Native speakers except the class from professor becasue I stayed in Japan.

教科書開いての勉強が嫌いな自分は、なんとか楽して英語の勉強をする方法を探していました。I really don't like to study any kind of subjects from textbooks and look for a method of how to enjoy studying English.

ゲーム実況の動画を見たりラジオを聴くのが好きなので、youtubeで色々な動画を探しているとHololiveというvtuberグループを見つけました。Personally, I love to watch gaming video and listen to radio programs generally, so I looked up those kinds of videos on youtube. Then, I found vtuber group called Hololive. 最初に見たvtuberの人は、さくらみこchというピンク色で声に特徴がある女の子でした。なんの、動画を見たかは忘れましたがあの特徴のある声が好きになり見事に沼にハマってしまいました。 The first vtuber I watched was Miko Sakura, with pink hair and a distinguished voice. I forgot what kind of video I watched, but I could not forget her unique voice, and I was obsessed with her video after I found her youtube channel. しかし、英語の勉強をしたかったのでみこち（さくらみこ）のチャンネルはご褒美として週末にしか見ないと決めていました。みこちみたいな動画で英語ができたらいいなと思っていたところ、hololiveENという自分にぴったりな英語圏グループがあることに気がつきました。However, my purpose was to study English, so I decided to watch her video on only weekends as my pleasure time. After I wished there were videos I could watch in English, I noticed that there is HololiveEN which focuses on the audience who can understand English.
